Yes and yes! Just make sure to pick up some CopterX or Trex paddles too and you can either move the swashplate bracket [AR bracket (anti rotation)] to the the front. Or use the Esky swashplate. Or buy a similar one that has the AR pin in the back. I use the Esky CNC purple swash but the stock plastic swash will also work.

I just did the mod and it works great.. Before you begin
flip the coptorx shaft upside down.
Move the AR guide to the front and use sand paper or something to make the guide alittle wider and smooth.

You will need main blades align paddles and for the tail some blades.
Make sure to lock tite everything going into metal. Good luck and after you will see that it makes a huge difference...

Yep or use the swashplate you have. The paddles are the flybar paddles and YES I almost forgot(thanks for the reminder) you need to buy CopterX or Align blades the Belt CP blades do not fit. I recommend the Align 325mm Pro woodies or the Align blue/white fiber blades.

You must either use a CopterX(that comes with it) or Align shaft upside down. The Belt's main shaft won't work. Conex got lucky and they sent him the wrong shafts.

Thats up to you! I never did and probably won't ever do it I need all the strength the Belt's frame has cause I run an extra 1000 rpms on the blades than a stock Belt.

I did the DTS while I was at it... Read DX6i topic.. It has alot of info I had to ask questions on while doing the head tail and DTS.. For my DTS I just bought some E325 servo trays and mounted those.. Didn't like the idea of cutting my frame..

It dosen't really matter the weights provide more stability and less response. The Belt's weights will not fit. I use the CopterX carbon paddles which have weights built in but many here don't use weights at all which is fine and probably better!

I f you are ordering Align flybars, make sure you get the 220mm ones, as they do manufacture shorter ones
These are fine:

http://www.helidirect.com/product_in...oducts_id=4159

This is the shorter one at 200mm
