Default Recommended Hitec Servo's for the X50?

I've had good luck with the Hitec 65MGs on my 450Pro...I would like to keep the Hitec name on my new titan X50...Anyone use Hitec servo's and which ones...Which is more preferable...analog or digital? Thanks for any answers in advance!

The high voltage ones we had success with over here but pick something like futaba bls 251 for the tail the hitec hv servos are lightning fast, got good holding power and good centering even at 6v if you don't want to push 2s into them

i used hitec servos at first. They worked fine but i outgrew them. about a year, then bought DS610 (align). for the price, comparable to hitec, go with align. these servos are well worth it. speed, torque and they are digital. for the tail ive used futaba 9254 and bls251. i have a ds650 on my x50 i havnt flown yet. so far i love the bls251.

best cyclic hitec servo $80-90$
HS-7966HB
Motor type: Coreless
• Bearing type: Dual ball bearing
• Speed (4.8V/6.0V): 0.10 / 0.08
• Torque oz./in. (4.8V/6.0V): 92 / 111
• Torque kg./cm. (4.8V/6.0V): 6.6 / 8.0

best align cyclic servo $65-$70
DS610
Torque:
@ 4.8V: 133oz in (9.6kg cm)
@ 6.0V: 166oz in (12.0kg.cm)
Speed:
@ 4.8V: 0.10sec/60°
@ 6.0V: 0.08sec/60°
Voltage: DC 4.8-6V
look in the classifieds and you can pick up a set of the align servos for easily $50 a pop.

Best hitec servo is the premium hv series 222oz 0.06 at 2S lipo. Miles before the align servos, I would only buy the aligns if I could not afford anything better because they decent and not that pricy. In performance the hitec have better centering, holding power and speed. Even good enough for being used on direct to swash setup for a .90 or a 700. Still it cost a little bit more but in general you get what you pay for

I'm on my mobile so can't cutpaste that much but search for premium hv hitec servo on google and have a look

the above post was digital to digital comparison. both those servos run at 6v.
the HV hitec servos are $150 a pop. while they might be great servos the cost isnt. although if i was gonna go HV id be looking at other servos. im not knocking hitec, ive owned them.

I agree the old servos was not that great but seeing the new premium take punishment has impressed me. I have avoided hitecs in the past from experience but the new servos made me turn around.

The performance and the fact that it seem to keep tight and slop free for a good while draws me to them for my soon to come 700.

I had worse experience with the align servos then hitec in the past, probably since I fly fbl, the aligns develop slop very quick and fbl performance goes down the drain. Even had a swash servo stop working on me so I won't touch them again. Hence why I mostly run futaba servos ATM. A servo is less expensive then the heli anyhow skimp where you can skimp is my suggestion and with a stellar heli like the X50 it deserve good servos
