Innova 550 V2 DFC - Good Beginner Kit?
I'm looking to get my first outdoor heli - I've been spending time with Phoenix RC and flying my Nano CPX around the house. Is the 550 V2 a good kit to get started with? Or am I better off with a Tarot or Trex 450L? I know the larger size is supposed to be better to learn on due to the stability, any other things I should consider to decide?

Hi, you want to go with a 550 size that's for sure, easy to handle wind easy to see, to work on and good performance
Now the Innova line has been discontinued you can find parts but I will recomend to go with the Agile 5.5 instead it is available in all mayor online hobby shops. |

Always make sure you have your holes lined up before you put the screw in, it's easy to get the holes misaligned and scratch up the parts when assembling the frame. Also the CF frames sometimes have insufficient tolerance in some of the screw holes (holes exactly 3mm instead of 3.05) and reaming it with the screw first will make assembly easier. |

I tried contacting both Allen at KDS Models USA as well as the chinese site and never got a response from either of them regarding whether parts would continue to be available. Made me pretty nervous so I decided to skip this one and go with the Blade 550X instead (also discontinued but most parts are still available).
