over dialup, ya...that's pretty much going to suck.

someone may be willing to burn you a copy and send it to you.

When I'm in an area I don't have high speed, I ask around to my friends and see if somebody has a faster connection. Most likely they have a burner too or a pen drive can be a very useful tool. All of Bob's videos (so far) will fit on a 512 drive, which you should be able to pick up for less than $20. Then just take them home and transfer to your machine.

I dont have the time right now because I dont keep the compressed WMV files on my PC and would have to recompress them all again or download them all from the server. But if someone is willing to burn them to CD and send them to finfan882002 I will give permission to do so.

Bob

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!! I'm pretty new to this and there aren't many hobby shops with Helicopters around here. In fact none. The videos are fantastic. I thought I would pull my hair out just trying to solder some simple connections. Your videos explain things so well. I have tried to read how to program my radio, set-up my servos, and set things up, but it is one thing to read and another thing to do. Thanks for all the details about how it all works. I feel like I have found a truly great place to learn. Again, Thank you!

I'll second that. Just flew my new 450SE today for the first time. Even Alan Sr was impressed with the build and the performance! Of course I let him know where certain helpful details came from.

Particularly helpful to me were the avionics placement suggestions to avoid EMI, and the throttle curve info.

Hats Off to Finless Bob!

Pics pending...

I could use an answer on the pinion issue as well. I was thinking of Loctiting both the shaft and the grub screw threads..

Haven't seen the pinion vid either. Any tricks or does the piece of paper mesh trick work here too? FYI I'm building an SE with the blue gears and will be using the 11T pinion that came with the 430BL motor.
