Default Patience

I can not believe I have been this patient for this long, I've had the 450c for over a month and still haven't put it in the air. Most of you know why, can we say RTF!!!!!

Been practicing on the sim and flying the mcx2 inside, must say the fingers and the mind are becoming as one.

Once this snow gets off the ground diving in with both feet (and some training gear but not for long) the excitement is almost overwhelming.

The hard work is beginning to pay off.

Thanks again to all of my fellow KDS helifreaks!!!!!!!

Hey, You must be very strongminded. I would not have been capable of waiting so long. BUT you are doing the exact right thing.
And once you have her up in the air you'll see how much more fun the real thing is.

With enough snow you dont need training gear .... whatever that is....
If it makes you feel any better I still have not flown the Innova 450SD yet either....
Have been under the weather and no motivation..... Maybe this weekend...

I bought my Innova 700 in Bangkok march 3 last year, did at first not like it,
extremely high mast/head and the boom seems to never end,
the tail assy looked like Forrest Gumps legbraces, really disapointed....
The V1 canopy was put aside though the left "earflap" was pointing 45deegres outward....., i also bought a V2 canopy but in my opinion they are ugly and way to small for a 700.

I had no interrest of putting this thing together, but during the New Year holliday i was
bored and pulled it out from under my bed, had all electronics and soon it was
finished (took me almost a year).

The maiden gave me a pleasant surprise, this ugly beast was a wery nice flyer,
today it's the heli i use most, and i guess it will be even better when i get the V2 uppgrade kit and helical gears i've ordered....

Peter

Ps. If you ever go to Bangkok, you must go visit Tommotor (Khosit "Tom" Mongkholthai) at a place called "Sapan Leak" (Iron Bridge) in central parts of town, Thai distributor of KDS , he's a very nice guy and speaks good english.

Pepperman

Please do not fly that 700 until you replace the tail pulley gear with one of the metal ones. They are a known weak point and when they give way you will end up in a full negative collective situation. It is worth the wait to replace this piece.... When mine gave way it hit the ground so hard they picked up the impact in California.... and I am in Texas .....

Alright youngin .... Don't listen to the old man..... mine snapped in a hover nothing more.... it was the third hover while dialing in. There is alot more load on that pin that you think even in a hover..... Sorry to harp but im a real stickler for safety .... A 450 almost cost me my fingers ... I don't want to see anyone hurt...
