Saw the same posted at "the other site", too.
Click the link posted above, and then click "Safety advice" at upper left side of the screen.

Thanks for the heads up.

I saw this earlier, but cannot see the crack in question...

Can anyone see it?

Checked, nothing (660 flights, 1x minor crash, 1x big one).
Good point about the main shaft though, i replaced it on the big crash, but i still have the original one, because it is straight.

Me neither.
turned it around and looked again but no crack to be seen. Probably right there where the light reflection is. . .

Ah, well it seems to me it should be the edge, the center of the hub and the continuing part in which are the head o-rings.
Inspected mine, see no crack.
But the photo is not really clear, so i hope i understand it right?

There is a dark line at the transition from the round o-ring holder to the center piece of the hub.

Just at the tip of the red arrow...

...so I agree with jointer.

I see, the crack is in the corner and runs along the circumference.

I can see this coming, considering "competition".

A main shaft upgrade would require

New bearings, New main bearing holders, new shaft, new main gear and new main gear hub, new head and different Jesus bolt.

Overall that's a lot of changes to make, but I think a lot of people would go to that just so they didn't have to worry about the head sheering off.

This would also be a good time to increase the diameter of the featuring shaft since he has a warning about pulling up at the end of a speed run, so that would mean new feathering shaft, blade grips and wobble pivot. However, I'm not sure if this is really an issue people are running into.

Fine by me. All of the above is needed. Unfortunately i used to bend spindles on the mpxle and 09 head. Bearings get notchy. With a le motor its worse.

The goblin feels like i wont break it

A model has to be flown for at least half a season until one really can say something... right now it looks like a good design withou major issues.
If you fly harder belt has to be mucht tighter than SAB advices. First stage doesn't have any wear out on mine by now, second stage produces quit some black "dust" under the canopy but no sign of weak gears.
It doesn't spin as freely as my Raptor does or my TDR did.
One weak point is the canopy, it simply doesn't really fit and I have sone cracks in it.
Blades don't fit my taste too... way too stable for my taste but good for speed-type flying. And this thing is really fast and precise.
But I have to say that my Goblin has 2s servos and the BLS451 in my TDR were at their limits...

Getting OT here, but good thing that you're changing to Radix, did you see the pic below...no safety wire in a blade rated for 3500 rpm...

They are rated for 3500 RPM??? That is rating for 425mm blades on 500 size, not 700...
