EDIT:

I totally misread Flybar as Flybarless.. So ignore the below..

However, I would run as maximum as I could get out.. that would include binding at extremes.

Callum

Heya,

I run 8 Degrees Cylic as that is what Vbar requires, Depending on what Flybarless controller you use, they will have a pre-defined cyclic pitch that you must adhere to, to get the best performance out of the unit.

Regards
Callum

Swash at 50 Pitch: +/- 10 degrees , Swash at 50 Elevator:8 degrees , Swash at 50 Aileron: 8 degrees. That is conservative. I can get +/- 12 degrees in pitch and not bind up the swash plate. I did however significantly changed the link lengths in the build manual.

I don't recall exactly what I did but all the links were changed. As directed, with servos set up exactly as directed I had far too much negative pitch at mid stick.

Will hover hands off. Dead stable, with plenty of control authority for big air. I'm not much of a hard core 3D flyer. My first and definitely NOT my last MA.

My Ail/Elev are both at 7 degrees but there is loads more throw available on the swash for hard core 3D.
