Default Hi-tech HS-65

Just got new HS 65 servos for my bird and just wanted to let you know they fit with very little modification to the frame. you use these servos you will have to remove some material form the sides of the servo holes in the frame as the are a very tight fit. you will also need to re size the mounting screw holes as the center mount on the servo does not line up exactily all of this is quick work with a dremal. the 65s seem to center better than the s75 eflite/spectrum servos. I will give a flight report after the test flight.

anything new? how'd it fly? I need to change the s75's in my 400 pro as I think they're getting ready to strip...I'd rather do that now, than after a crash.

I am also using 65s. I like em, but I wish I would have gotten the metal gear version instead of the carbonite gears.

For the tail, I am using a futaba 3110 with a gy240. This combo is great for holding the tail steady for light 3D, but backward flight just aint happening. Many are having great success with the 401 and 9650, but that is a $200 combo. The only reason I am not flying a 401 is because I got a great deal on a used 240.
