GT5 on T-rex 450PRO=Success(video)

I have been having my eyes on this thread for a while now and I have finaly got me a GT5.
And I must thank all of you for al the good info you have posted here

Yea - nice flying - I wish I could fly like that..

I noticed you used the extended antirotation tray to mount it.. so do you have enough room to "tap" in there - must be tight ?

Yes it's a bit tight, so I have to use my little finger to tap

I'll be glad to share my settings.
Note: The balls on the swash servos arms are 11mm from the center.
So I guess that the most intresting settings are those in the P/I menue for the
swash.
P=95
I=73
I/D=80
D stick=35
feed=100
I-limit=25
hoover=3

Tail settings
P=67
I=70
D Stick=23
The rest of the settings for the tail didn't I change.

I had to increase the values for the main rotor in the swash menue.
Aileron=120
Elevator=110
Pitch=115

Thank you! I did not know you could get the P & I for cyclic up so high! I think I hit the limits at about 65 or so. The ball links are 12.5mm on my HS-5065s. My Trex450 is the older non-Pro version.

How high you may raise P/I values on same helicopter depends most on how much cyclic throw you have (in G-T5 menu), servo speed and total gain value. Sample:

Total gain / cyclic throw in degrees (in menu) / P / I
1.) 100/8/100/100
2.) 100/10/75/75
3.) 125/6/100/100
...

There are other factors (blades, ... ), but Total gain / cyclic throw in degrees (in menu) / P / I are the most important on same helicopter with same setup.

Very nice setup. Did you have to extend any of the cyclic servo leads to reach to the GT-5?

Yes I did extend the wires from the swash servos. But it's not necessary if you install the GT5 on the right side of the heli with the wires facing forward.
