Hmmm I just put a caliper on my main shaft, and its 10mm. I would only be concerned for feathering shaft I guess. Reason being its from a vibe 50 and I'm dont know if the 90 needs a stronger shaft.

It may, not sure, you will have to drill 5mm holes on the blade holder in steed of 4mm that may be it.

Do you know the diameter of the spindle of the vibe 90????

Hello Jason!

Yes they are made out of 6061, if you use Radix 690īs or 710īs or any other that feet on a 12mm blade holder, as I mention you will only need to enlarge the holes to 5mm.

I have never tried spinning 710īs; the head looks strong so it "may" handle them.

I know some are planning to use the 3DX 600/Vibe 50 Head on a Mikado 700 conversion using 710īs. They also have 10mm main shaft.
