Smile Daytona Winter Helifly
The Daytona Beach Radio Control Association announces its sixth annual Winter HeliFly.

Friday, Jan 24 through Sunday, Jan 26, 2014.

Open flying from 9:00AM to 4:00PM Friday through Sunday. Electrics can fly at 8:30AM. We have 4 flight stations and will have an area set aside for hover-only testing and training.

Pilots meeting at 8:45AM Sat. AMA membership is required. $20 landing fee, includes Saturday lunch.

This is DBRCA's sixth Heli-only event - come out and help us make it better than ever.

Our club website is at http://dbrca.org - maps are available on the website, including a link to Google Maps.


AMA Sanction# 14-0029.

This will be a great way to start off the new year, great place to fly, great food by our own Terry G. & great people to hang with for the weekend.

Hi all attending the Daytona fun fly. The Vintage Helicopter Association will have a display of Vintage helis and equipement, as well as VHA shirts and hat, and membership forms. Can only go sat. not that bad of a ride . Maybe we can take one car if you are going for 1 day. I think scott wants to go also , also bob n steve n james ? I'll start calling everyone in the morning.

I'll be bringing a couple of vintage heli's to the event. I just finished getting my Cricket ready & test flew it yesterday. I'm working on my Hirobo Huey UH1 & hope to have that ready also. Also have a DuBro WhirlyBird 505.

Okay awesome!! Nelson might be coming up to it too. I'm at least going on Saturday. Girlfriend wants to make her Tail-in hovering debut there. :-)

If everyone comes I'll look at seeing if someone has another tent laying around I can borrow.
