Default Hyperion 3025-10t on 5s or 6s

I can't seem to find anything definitive on the Hyperion 3025-10t on anything but 4s. If I'm able to pinion it to the proper head speed, is there any reason it can't be used on 5S or 6S?
Thanks

It's a 2S to 4S motor according to the spec sheet

You would have to use a TRex500 16T pinion and cut it's length down

Isn't the 16t pinion skinny enough to fit between the belt when it's mounted in the frame?

Maybe - you would not want any slack in the tail belt as it could snag on the pinion

I felt safer cutting the pinion height down

I've got a small lathe and a small mill so it wouldn't be a problem. The only person who I see that has tried this motor on 5S was Finless and it didn't work out too well for him but that6's only one person so I can't tell if it will work or not. I don't want to waste a heli if others have tried also and it not worked but so far he's the only one I've found.

Thanks

Between the motor burning up for Finless when he ran it on 5s (I think?) and the fact the spec sheet on the motor claims it is only rated for 2s-4s I decided not to risk it on my Lepton and went out an bought a Hacker.

IMHO its not worth the risk, but its your heli

Thanks Jafa. That's the sort of info I am looking for. Looks like I'll stick with 4S on this one.
