Default Anyone import from Hobbycity to SouthAfrica?
Hi SA Freaks
I want to buy some lipos from Hobycity and just wanted to know what "Customs Declaration" means? On checkout there is a section that says that.Should I leave it on 30% or put it on the minimum 10%.Is this the tax I have to pay when the package arrives in SA?

Beter om dit op 100% te sit, dit is die waarde wat SARS gebruik om VAT te bepaal. As jy dit minder maak, kan dit by SARS uitkom en die besending vertraag, ONTHOU hulle (SARS) het ook internet en kan sien wat die artikels werklik kos by HobbyCity.

I left mine on 30% and had absolutely no problems...maybe I was just lucky though!

As julle goed van Hobby City af bestel gebruik EMS ek het al 2 orders verloor met die gewone Air Parcel.

I have placed one order with them and it dissapeared about 6 months ago. No sign of it. Also still waiting to see if they pay anything out?

I want to order the HK500GT now - will certainly use EMS this time.
