Could it be the pinion, which looks to be MSH 50017 (plastic manual has 50121 18T)

Not much is CNC in the Protos manual. Someone already guessed the pinion. So I'll guess the main shaft MSH50004.

This 700 is looking to be the lightest in its class. That means longer flight times and no need for super high powered motors. In addition...low parts count and probably the cheapest to fix.

I assumed by Corrado's statement about the Protos 500 manual that it would be a stock 500 part. Are upgrades also a possible choice?
