Electronics choices
After seeing a few of the ElyQ 50's perform, I am trying to put my head around build options.
What are the proven middle of the road servo choices for the 50? I, like many others, am considering moving up to a larger bird. Not really looking for top of the line but something that has a good track record and just works. Any set up or build tips that I need to be aware of? Would like to go fbl with a Beast X. I found out that the Trex 600 swash leveler works good with the FAI swash. Good tip!

Sup Tom! well honastly my word of advice is dont skimp on electronics thats my advice from experience. I had some middle road cyclic basic digital servos on cyclics for a while and every carsh i was rebuilding them. Especially if your going FBL your going to need some good stuff. I run ds610's and they are fantastic. Super good fast reliable metal geared not much money. I cant say where i get them but heres a tip do a google search for "ds610 combo" they sell them in threes and there pretty cheap. Beastx is perfect. heres alot of build tips i might get in trouble posting a offsite link but here ya go http://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/t631523p1/ it documents my whole experience since the get go when i got my kit.

Great link. I think the folks at HF and RR get along pretty good so you are ok.

Hey tom well im trying out some SAVOX servos on the tail and the throttle there very nice. I had to lower the tail gain 30 points lol. I think its due to its so fast. My old one was the 9254 futaba. So check out the savox servos. I heard align is rebranded savox. Savox is cheaper then align and i also heard they have a better gear ratio. keep them in mind
