Question Use 2 3S 2200 mAh batts for

I thought I read some where that this can be run on 2- 3S 2200 mAh batts for a 6S setup. Looking at the battery mount on the heli it looks like one can go on the top and one underneath. Looks like a little less weight maybe compared to a 6S 2600 or 3000.
Any and all comments welcome.

425 kit does come with the angle piece for under the chin...3s on top and bottom with a Y connector( to make 6s) MAKE SURE you have 2 matched batts and HIGH C rated
this bird WILL suck them down FAST...
I will on occasion run the 2-3s setup when my 450 is "Down" for one reason or other, but normally run a 2650 6s 30c or greater or a 2200 30c for 6-7 min sport flights. 3000mah will fit too ( under the chin, no angle ) OR, run a 550e canopy for more room!

Agreed. 3S 2200mAh X2 just does not cut it on the 425.

Damn
I have a crap load of 3S 2200 from my Trex's. Just prefer the larger birds now and the 450's just dont get much TLC. Good to know. Thanks

Default Use them

I use 2 x 3s, 11.1v 20c or above and they do great. Put one on top, one on bottom with a parallel connector and you'll have a solid 6-7 min of sport flying. Mine is perfect
