Default Trex 500esp to fbl/ dfc head, need help!

Hello everyone, I have a trex500esp. I am ready to convert it. Im unsure I feel like my research hasn't gotten me very far. I need a list of parts needed to do this conversion. From what I understand I need new blade grips? Is their a cheaper way to go about this. I have access to a used 3gx and zyx so the gyro should be taken care of. Thanks I am relatively new to the align 500, stepped up from a blade 450x. And these align products sure are nice! All help is appreciated.

You'll need the DFC kit agnh50181. Check the dampers in the dfc head block. Some have the soft 80° black
dampers. If wrong dampers, you'll need h50188t pom dampers. You'll need h50157t main shaft spacers. You'll need h50150t new grips.

If want to build a stand alone dfc head, you'll also need agnh50022 brass spacers between the grip and damper, and agnh50023t spindle shaft, and h50004t thrust bearings with spacer washers.

That about covers it for the dfc head...

Can you just get this? Looks pretty complete. What is it missing?

That is not a complete dfc head, it is an upgrade kit. You will still need to use some parts from the old head, like spindle/feathering shaft, brass spacer washers and thrust bearings. If you have the old grips, you will need the new grips. Plus the other items I mentioned in my post above....

There is a dfc head upgrade kit that includes the align 3gx fbl unit. To get a complete dfc head, you need to buy a trex dfc heli.

A dfc swashplate is also purchased separately, but not required....
