Default Gyro & RX placement

Was looking around and couldnt find anything on where do you place the gyro and the receiver on a 450 align. Does it matter or does it have to be balanced out with other electronics

You don't want all the electronics on one side of the heli, a balanced heli makes a lot of difference during fly time.
What gyro do you have?
I have the Futaba receiver as on this link and the gyro, a quark, under neat the tail holder, upside down with a M2 double sticky tape.
Have you decided what charger do you want?
Here is another link, look for Slyster and His charger combo

Under neat the tail Boom holder on the sev2, the flat metal part.
It is a pain because when you have to replace the tailboom you have to get a new double side sticky tape and scrap off the old one but I don't like it on the top either.Maybe a blade will hit it if is in the top. Nor even on the front as on the last picture;I'm afraid to have a nose in crash and good bye gyro$.

Or something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICRO-HELI-A...item232296d693

It is expensive, but I found one on the for sale for $8.00
It is mounted on the heli frame and goes under the boom holder.
