Default Tail Wag

Hey guys, so I just built my new T-Rex 550L and I have a very minute tail wag. It holds tight when stopping pirouette, punch out climbing and FFF. It seems it only happens when in a hover. I have went low on gains and got soft stop on pirouette and then went high which holds nice but still has the same amount of wag. The linkage is buttery smooth as well. I am using the governor mode with the talon 90 and the gov. gain is set to 15.

Any suggestions?

Default Gov Gain

Try lowering your Gov gain a couple of points.

I actually just increased because it feels low. Like it bogs pretty bad in between +/- transitions. Maybe it's wagging because it's not keeping up with head speed changes. I don't know I'll try a couple things and post my findings

Is gov gain only applicable to electric models? Where do you see what your gov gain is at

Governor gain is critical in any governor, regardless of power system.

That being said, the default CGY750 Nitro governor gain (40%) works very well with the majority of nitro engines on the market.

The electric governor gain is going to require more tuning, as the huge number of possible ESC/Motor combinations greatly influences the gain.

The gain can be found in the Governor Expert screen.
