Default GT5 full blown rx or sats only

Im building a 700 size electric and am now wondering if the two spektrum satellites I was planning to use is the right way to go as compared to a full size rx with a sat. or two.

The "...we are not responsible for GT5 and Spektrum compatibility" warnings in the Ace manual have me second guessing my move forward. Tx is a 12x.

Any experience from the field is appreciated.

Two sats will work just fine just as it does on the VBar. I would be inclined to (and I do) use a receiver like the AR7100R which has a built in gov and a regulated voltage rail for the rudder and dual throttle outputs one at full voltage and one at 5.2v.

My KDE/CHP700 and Titan SE use a JR 9ch receiver with a full HV setup and a separate gov.

While my X50 uses an AR7100R with the signal wires from the cyclic servos plugged into the G-T5 and the power plugged into the receiver. The G-T5 is fed 5.2v from the LV rail with the rudder servo plugged into the G-T5 and the throttle into the LV port on the 7100R. It is quite a complicated set up but has a bullet proof power bus!

Thanks guys! I've got it figured out. My problem was I had 2 DSMX satelites and not the DSM2's.
