Default Cant get XTR to recongnize JR 8103

I have an Dell 4600 and currently am using an old galaxy computer 8 PCM radio (JR) to operate the sim and all works fine . I want to begin using the 8103 but can not get it calibrated . I have set it to set to PPM . I have centered controls . When I use Channel Display in the sim all controls are completly to left and I must hold full stick just to show them at center. Can someone Help?

retro,

Try these settings in Assign Radio:

Tail rotor 4 -
Elevator 3 -
Aileron 2 +

General
Throttle 1 -

Notice you must set the plus and minus for each of the channels (to the right of channel number- click on it to save)

I think this will work or get you into the ball park- I dont have an 8000 series radio- just 6102 and dx6.

Default Didn't change a thing

Is there anything else? I can get the channels assigned by doing them 1 at a time . I just cant get the sim to calibrate center.

retro,

I am at a loss - never having an 8000 series radio but the manual looks almost exactly like my 6102 and dx6 manual. Did you set up a new model (PPM) or modify a model that was already there (perhaps there are some mixes setup??). Sorry looks like it's over my head :0)

Default Still Fustrated

I called and had a folder E-mailed that gave all channel assignments, didn't work.
I then tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling and using the 8103 as the new controler, didn't work. I have cleared all models in the transmitter except for the T-rex (mod #1). I will call back and see if I can get some more support. The easy part is when after messing with tryiing to get the 8103 to work , it only takes a few minutes to go back to the Galaxy, and i'm flying again.

Thanks for your help so far
I'll keep searching to find a way

David
