I do not have a Velocity but I can highly recommend a Dynatron started from Sullivan and a 6S LiPo pack. That set up could turn over a Model-T.

This is a power max cheap starter i forgot even where i bought it. With 14V it starts my YS 91's without hammering just easy!

I use the Align starter I know allot of people don't like it. But I have been using mine this whole flying season with out any issues so far knock on wood. I use a Thunder Power 3S 2200MAH Lipo Pack.

Nothing wrong with the Align starter. My son is using it. He also uses a 2200 mAh lipo on it.

Cannot go wrong with a dynatron. Tons of torque, up to 24V and a lifetime warranty.

I use the Dynatron also. I started with a 5s lipo, but that spun the engine too much. If it ever hydrolocked I don't think the starter would give before the engine.

I use a 4s lipo now and that works great. My old starter wouldn't get past compression of the 90.
