Very nice. Is that the CC ICE 120HV ESC? Have you had any problems?

Thanks guys!

Yep, an ICE 120. It wasn't part of the service advisory and has worked great. I added some hot glue along the caps to keep them in place, just for good measure.

What do I need to check to see if mine is part of the service advisory?

Looking good, I want your complete setup, lol. I've got 2 CC ice 120s, the newer one has a mounting bracket with holes to bolt it down. The old one i might take it apart to check it out. on hot gluing the caps, think some thick CA would work? It's funny my crashed up old HV 110 had the caps just hanging loose, shrink wrap was busted off and was fine, but replaced it for peace of mind.

Anyway, Great flying, enjoyed watching, especially at freezing temps.

Thanks $teve. I can't wait for all this snow to go away and spring to arrive!

I don't think CA would work too well; you could use shoe goo though. The hot glue is thick enough not to run everywhere so a bead of glue down the front, back and sides of the caps will hold them in place. The new one shouldn't need any glue because the plastic cap holders are longer? (I think)

Here's a pic of what I did:

The plastic on the cap end of the ESC is supposed to be longer on the new 120HV? I need to check mine when I get home.

I know on the regular ICE line they have already made the change. I'm not sure about the HV.

Old ice 120 and New ice 120 and beat up HV110 that still works.
Pulling old one per Castle's instructions to check to make sure I got the right metal plate. If it's wrong maybe I'll just drive up there and see if they'll exchange it, lol.
