Me, my wife and the dog went out for a few hours on Saturday afternoon. I'm new to this hobby so this was the first time I have seen the pros fly the big birds and I was blown away by the various maneuvers that they could do. I especially like the speed competition, I had no idea that these helis could move upwards of 200km/h. Anyhow, here are some of the pictures I shot on Saturday.

Glad you made it out.
Even being in the hobby for 5yrs I am blown away still by the level of flying we see at these events, especially the young guy's.

Had two 'kids' there, one 12 and one 15 competing. Both have under 2ys flying experience and were amazing at the sticks.
Can't imagine where they'll be and what they'll be doing with another 2yrs experience.

Speed comp was cool but nowhere near world record speeds. Current standing record
is ~315Kmh.

Sorry missed this post... Yes that was my dog Shelby. She is a shiloh shepherd and does indeed look very wolf like. I have trained her to lay down still behind me while I fly my heli. She seemed to have a good time at the FF last weekend as we all did. Too bad I did not get a chance to chat with you, maybe next year!
