I heard that the new 10j is going to have voice alert to compete against spectrum dx9. Is there such a thing on the 14sg?

14sg has voice alerts for telemetry.

The problem is that the 14SG has no built in speaker. You either have to ware headphones or install your own speaker. I don’t like headphones because the noise from the helicopter blades tell me a lot about what it is doing and hoe it’s flying.

Does anyone have experience doing a speaker mod or a link – I would like to mod my 14SG before spring?

you could easily plug in a little speaker using the headphone jack.

I like the earbud option myself... don't bother anyone else and using only one bud I could hear plenty of what is going on around me, including my heli

Here's a pic. for reference, I did see another pic. with a speaker that was similar-to one-of the Beats "Pills" installed basically in the same place.

IIRC I was able-to find all these on fleaBay (small speaker, pill-type, ear-bud, ..... )
