Default gsr-7075lmt . Is it better to coneect ^s or 12S?

Hi

I have the Vibe SG E12 and I want to use the gsr-7075lmt as BEC.

I run 12S (2x6S). Should I connect the 12S as input or the 6S (I assume it is better to connect 6S as input voltage as the unit need to reduce the voltage only from 25 v and not from 50v.

It doesn't matter.

I know people connect to 6s , so they can power receiver and so before power up esc.

But I uses 5 of them on 12s direct, and never had a issue :-)

so 6s isn't "better" or "stronger" or easier on the bec than 12s?
(I just finished a build and I'm using 12s right now).

In theory it will be easier on it, but it's built for up to 18s so it's not a problem for it.
You can use it without any problem :-)

What is your servo setup and flight style?

And do you use any type of backup device?

Thanks for asking, I have the HV Align DFC 700 kit:
3x DS700H HV servo on head
1x DS750H HV on Tail

I'm running the GSR-7075 LMT at 7.4 Volts powered by 12S. Do you think these servos have any chance of drawing too much for the BEC? I don't fly hard 3d for the whole 5 minutes. I just throw in a tic tock here an there. The GSR-7075 stays cool to the touch after landing (it's under my canopy).

Since the BEC is not hot, it seems fine to me, but I've heard these servos might have really high burst amperage draw!

I've use the same servos, just with savox name on, and when I fly as hard I can, the gryphon bec barely get warm.

This is on gaui x7, agile7.2 and raptor e700.

The agile is the heaviest, and heavier than your align. So the servos will be under harder load.

So you don't have to be afraid that it can't handle the amp draw.

But it's always good idea to use some sort of backup device.

I personal use scorpion backup guard.
