Swash stabilization - good.
Tail stabilization - so, so.
Basic design - which muppet thought it wise to require eCCPM inputs?!?

Nothing.
Setup properly, with some minor adjustments to cyclic and tail default values it is pretty much perfect. Even the tail.

I flew my Protos again this morning... hehe it is flying just like my Vbar Protos. Funny thing is I just have a Mikado gyro tape on with the sensor as its all I have at the moment, I forget to strap it down with a velcro but it made no difference as it flew great. I updated to 2.1 firmware and everything default. Sensor is set at 12 and 12. I can now piro and it stays put. Be sure to use a swash leveling tool as it has helped immensely with stability.

Just so you know, your heli must be perfect for any FBL system, no vibs, correct blades etc.

I have the 2.1 Align 500 and I tweaked the default just a tad, upped the aile and elev control rate 5
the rudder control 10, lowered aile and elev expo to 0, lowered the hiller rate to 45, lowered motion delaty to 45 and upped the swash plate return to 65 at 9.5 deg cyclic and 23 expo on the tx

I posted on another thread regarding the computer based setup program for the 3G. I see your numbers that you have posted here, but I really don't know for sure what the relative numbers mean. I suppose that is why Align has the default settings.

Sure wish I know what they are all about.

OK upping the ail and evel control rate increase roll rate, upping rudder control increased piro rate, When using expo in the TX elev and ail expo should be set to 0, and lowering the hiller rate provides more direct and faster responce, raiseing cyclic pitch motion delay makes the helli more docile, I lowered it to make it more snappy. I ended up putting swashplate return speed back to default. The default setting was to docile and I wanted quicker more reactive feel.
