Default Radikal G20 belt incorrect tension signs

Who's got ideas of what to look for concerning incorrect belt tension on the G20.

The Radikal belt drive has an idler wheel at the back so it will perform well when set relatively loose. The tighter it is, the more drags there will be. This will mean it will take more power from the motor to turn during powered flight. This also means that it will make autos more difficult because in the auto, it will be absorbing more of the kinetic energy from the main rotor. If it is set too tight, it can generate enough frictional heat to melt the front and/or rear pulleys, specially when running high rotor speeds.

If it is too loose, you will hear it rattle a lot under high loads. The best way I found to set the belt tension is to set the heli on a smooth workbench and to set the tension so that you can push one side of the belt one half of the way over to the other at the front before the heli starts to slide on the work bench. Once set, I will drill a small hole in the middle of the side of the rear tail transmission and screw in a small metal screw to act as a pin to keep it from sliding in or out or from turning around the boom.

This is how I set my belt tensions on ALL belt driven helix that I have owned over the last 30 years.
