Default Swash plate play

This is on a new kit. It was like this from the beginning.
Is this much play normal? How can I tighten it?
Thanks!

I don't think it should protrude out the bottom, at least mine doesn't. Might want to contact the seller of the kit - it does look a little much for play.

Is that play in the bearing or does the bearing not seat correctly? I don´t have my bird in front of me, but in the latter case one could try to pin it down (with care).

Hmmm...I checked mine last night. It was bought used but I almost certain it was never flown. I didn't take is apart like you did so my test was on the bird itself. There is movement like yours but no where as much. If I had to estimate, maybe, maybe 1/4 as much, if that.

Is there suppose to be no movement at all????

Very hard to say. I think the bearing is defective.

I wrote to Fastlad (exceptional customer service until now) 48 hours ago and I have no answer yet. Probably they are scratching their heads just like me on this one.

I also wrote to MSH today and I am curious to see what they reply. I am kind of resigned that probably I have to buy another swash plate and that I won't be able to get it replaced.
33 euros more on a heli that has gone well over 1500 euro is not that much but reading on the forum about all the problems with this part I am afraid I will get another lemon.

FYI, fast lad sent me a new swashplate on my first protos due to excessive play (I had the polished one and they sent me the newer matte one).
Excellent and top customer service from them.

OK thanks! Because I was thinking of messing with it to see how it is put together but if I have to return it I better let it be.

OK... So finally after 5 days FastLad answered to my mail and asked me to send the swash back in order to be replaced if the part will be in stock. Right now it's not... I am going to send it back tomorrow, it will take 5 days to get to them and another 5 days if they have the part by that time to send the part to me. So a grand total of at least two weeks to be grounded!
I just wanted to fly the darn thing while the weather is still perfect and it doesn't get to hot further into the summer.

Update... FastLad sent me a new swash plate (no original packaging) but it doesn't have the 3 long balls for the FBL system (MSH 50175) it just has the short balls (MSH 50009). I sent them back a complete swash plate to be replaced with long and short balls. Way to go guys!
Also I am sorry to say the new swash plate still has some play.
Getting kind of pissed now. I sent them a mail 4 days ago and they didn't respond so I went ahead and bought from them with next day shipping the long balls. That was yesterday and today instead receiving the parts I found out they didn't bother to send them just yet. Another mail... Again no answer. And guess what: If they send the parts tomorrow (Friday) I won't receive them until Monday.

I will have a little bit of play. The nature of radial bearings. Not as much as your vid tho. Mine has a slight bit, Enough that you can see it move if you wiggle it. But it doesnt affect anything in flight. Heli is rock solid

It is reasonable to think so but my 450 pro after hundreds of flights and 4 crashes has 0 play.
