Default 500 EFL flight report

Spent the weekend flying against 15 mph wind with gusts in the 20's. Four days of it. The SK540 handled it without a hitch. I upgraded the tail servo to a full sized 655 and the tail hold is awesome during all maneuvers. The slight shift of the CG of the heli forward stopped all of the nose rise during fast forward flight.

All in all - I am a very happy customer.

Good to hear!
I'm still battling the pitching up issue in FF on my 500ESP. Changing CG doesn't seem to help in my case.
What is your hiller decay at on your 500?

I am running 165 right now.

I am sorry to hear that moving your cg didn't help. My tail drag compensation is -10. That is the largest value it will allow. With the cg shift and changing the tail drag, the nose stopped rising for me.

I'll try the tail drag next time I'm out. It's still at the default. Thanks

I bumped up the tail drag comp too. I have a ds520 with the ball on the inner most hole and the tail holds fine. I have another 500 with a Spektrum H5020g that would not hold the tail at all, its weird.
