Default 300x roll forward after bind

hey guys, i had to rebind my 300x to my dx6i after i broke my bind switch.

so today i rebinded it before a flight, did my pre flight check, everything looked to be in oerer.
i brought it to a hover and then it slowly started to pitch forward, and i lost all control of it. and then luckly before it went too forward it snapped out of it so i could save it. and then after that i just had a normal rest of the flight...

anyone have any idea what that was all about?

Can you see any vibrations when doing a steady hover?

May sound like the "roll of death"

Have a look here: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=554707

no there is absolutely no vibes on this bird. i dont fly even with a small vibe, this thing (although being stock except for trex 450 tail hub and grips) is DIALED IN.

plus I thought the roll is always to the right.

also use CF blades and did the motor locktight.

Sounds to me like your canopy got stuck on the servo links. My 300x did the same thing when the links got caught on the canopy. The heli stopped "obeying" me and randomly took off on its own adventure.

you know what that does kind of sound possible but the canopy is not close enough to the front servo link to bind, but I usually have some clearance issues on the sides but i dont see why that would send me forward.. still possible though =\ ill keep an eye on it.

But wouldn't the sides catching raise the swash forward?

+1 servo gears have a tendency to strip.

If the side links catch the canopy on positive collective (i.e. swash down because of trailing edge control on the main blades), it results in slight positive collective but lots of forward elevator.

well it was right on take off so it must have been that. 10 flights in and no other problems so that must have been the problem. thanks man!
