1010C vs Bantam 902 Comparison Info??
I am in need of buying a new charger set up and would like to know if anyone has used both the new 1010C from Thunder Power and the Bantam 902 chargers....
I am thinking that the 902 would be the better choice for me since I need it to do all different types of batteries including the A123 and LiFe's along with the max cell count for lipo's... Any pros and cons would be a big help prior to me making the final choice.... Thanks in advance..... Stan Would also be interested in different units in the same price range, but would want to know that advantages if mentioned.....Thanks

There are quite a few good options but you have not made it clear how many cells and what mAh you need to charge. The latest software for the TP1010C gives it full multi-chemistry capabilities. The e902 is of course 12s vs 10s and can discharge at much higher rates. The 1010C is mated with a single 10s 210V balancer whereas the e902 needs a pair of PB6 balancers.
If 6S is enough then you might want to consider the Hyperion 0601iDUO or iCharger 106B. The DUO gives you two independent integrated 6s,180W/10A balance chargers in a single unit. In Synch mode it will balance across the two ports allowing you to charge pairs of packs to make up larger packs (eg 2 x 5s = 10s, 2 x 6s = 12s). The iC106B is 6s, 180W/10A in a very compact unit with discharge/cycling features the DUO lacks. If you need 10S, the iCharger 1010B is well worth considering. You might find this summary useful: Code:
