New setup: YGE MSH 160HVK and Mini Vbar

Hello and greetings from Finland!

I'm building my second heli, and would appreciate some basic wiring instructions with it...

Heli Kit: Mikado Logo 690 SX, with Scorpion 370kv motor
Swash Servos: Savox SC-1257
Radio + Tx: Vbar Control + Mini Vbar
Batteries: 12S
ESC: YGE MSH 160HVK
(no BEC, nor Receiver battery)

What do you suggest, how to wire the ESC and Mini Vbar - I want to use Vbar's Governor?

Do I need an external BEC (or a Receiver battery which does not sound convenient for me)?
--> If *yes*, how should I wire the ESC, BEC and Mini Vbar, so that I'd use Vbar's Governor?
--> If BEC is *not* needed, same request about wiring, pls

Do I need a programming Card for YGE ESC? My flying still is VERY LIGHT aerobatics

I have found a Mikado 4765 Governor Adapter Cable....which exists in (at least) two versions:

Ok, the first one is for the HV esc to a full size vbar, the 2nd one is for a HV ESC to a mini vbar. On the 2nd one, the negative and positive wire are split into two connections, the reason being is that with the mini vbar, you plug the red wire into the top pin of RX A and then you'll need to plug the negative wire into a negative pin on any other port, may need a Y cable for this.

You will need a external BEC, or a rx battery. Not sure if you have HV servos or not. But the RX batt would be best. But you need something to power your system since the YGE 160 HVK does not have a BEC. I recommend a Western Robotics BEC. I use the Western Robotics Super Mini BEC G2. Here's the diagram of how to wire it. Please pay close attention to it. The super mini is not designed to wire into a 12s system. The diagram shows you how to wire it into one of the 6s batts in a 12s system. It's just critical you pay close attention to how it is wired. It does matter which batter you use. So please pay close attention.

Ok man, that was a bit hard to make sense of. But I think I got it.

The only area I see a problem is your gov cable. The red wire goes to the top pin of the RX A port, and then you need to plug ground into any of the other ground pins, as I said you may need another Y cable.

That is if you're using this cable.
