All sorted - Just canceled my order for the 450SE so will be hoping the online retailers will be getting them soon. Do you happen to have the part number for the heli? Makes searching easier.

Video server clears out the temp files slowly so the dialaup people can download. We are cranking through a TON of downloads. Any one of Bob's videos is downloaded more than all the flying vids put together!!

Anyway, Bob you sold me, my V2 kit is ordered.

Will I can give you space on my server if we can figure out how to setup a mirror in PHPBB. I've never looked that up , I'll hit their forums today if I remember and see what I find.

Yes I was told parts and upgrade heads will be sold.

TO convert an existing SE the main thing is the new head. You dont need new swash and washout especially if you have the new washout with the longer brass sleave already. You just the head and the ball bearing seesaw.

The tail upgrade can be bought already and has been out for some time now.
The XL motor is out now.
The new main gear has been out for a while now.

The only other item which is not needed but if you wanted would be the new frame set. I dont know if they will be selling the entire frame set as a kit.

Looks like I only will need the head and the canopy. Frames will wait until mine are in pieces.

Man - I'm pretty disappointed/upset. I ordered a T-Rex 450 from helidirect and asked before purchasing if it was V2 or not and was told it was a v2. It's not... I sent an e-mail today to find out what they can/will do for me. I was very excited to receive my T-REX (first one!!) and when I didn't see the V2 on the box didn't think much about it. I have it built now, waiting on the electronics...darn..always move too fast, but then again I did ask the question and received an answer.

Name of the game guys!

So you know VENDORS (not Align) were calling the SE V2 on thier web sites for a LONG TIME... They did this to tell people it had all the upgrades and was not the original SE. BAD ON THEM! Align now has done a V2 officially.

Man I know I am a beginner and I’m still buying all the parts for my 450S. But it still makes me want one even thought I am such a noob that I wouldn’t even notice the changes when flying.

There is just something with wanting the newest and greatest parts though. So once I starting breaking parts and having to replace them will any of these new pieces fit a 450S?

NO difference in the ESC since the last release a couple of months ago...

I gotta ask.. WHAT THE HELL is this obsession with gov mode on a freakin Trex450 that uses 100% flat idle up Tcurves anyway? Sorry but get over it! If you aint flying 100% flat idle up curve then gov mode aint going to help you fly better as your flying under the limits of the heli!

The 450 is thier best selling heli... why would they not continue to improve it?
This is how Align does business. If you had seen the FIRST 450 out over 2 years ago you might not even recognize it anymore......
