RIght now... I would go with 2 Evolite 2500 packs.... Just be aware that if you use them on the 450 try as best you can to use them evenly so when you put them together for the 500 they match as best as possible. If you use one pack a lot more on the 450 than the other one, then in a short time they wont work together well on your 500.

Thanks ,'don't taco my pack' man Bob!
You see, I like your evo lite thinking. I was a little concerned that the 18c wouldn't be enough for the 430x motor let alone the 430xl and that 25c was best suited for current draw of these motors. Also ambient temperature. This is where the balance of decision lays for me before shelling out on some new packs. Its the interchangeability that I like but I here you about not running one pack down more than the other. Mk1

I agree with Bob on the FP2500 evolights. As far as matching them up on your 500, take a look at the new Cellpro 10s charger. It has a feature which measures internal cell resistance. This would allow you to match 3s packs based on cell condition ( if you have several 3s packs). This will help with pack longevity because packs of similar resistance (age/cycles) will be paired together.
Bob, Don't let Kevin taco your packs. LOL |

What about the EVO 25 - 2500'S ? I know there's more weight, but I read they run very well.
