...there is a shaft going to the arm on the inside that has a square drive end joining the elev. arm.
Small screw holds servo double arm on and another with a washer on the right side.

after looking at this design and continuing to have probe with it I'm wondering what every one else is doing to correct this poor design?

Do you have the plastic frame or the CF frame? It is really quite an effective, trouble free set up....elevator arm has a square peg that fits nicely into square hole. Run up the self tapping screw and that side is done. For the opposite side there is a copper bushing that slides in thru the centre of the bearing and then you just run up the self tapping screw IIRC. My CF frame needed a bigger bushing to work but otherwise same procedure. Works pretty darn good too.
Hope this is helpful.

thanks, but Im an idiot! lol. My sq. peg was broken clean and I didn't know it. must have happened when I put in the tree in my yard. I thought the elev. arm and the servo arm was just held in place by tightening the screw. Got a new one installed now all is good.
