Short flight on the nano, figured I would record some here and there so I can look back as I progress.

I don't know it this is the right thread, but in this video you can see my nano strange issue on startup. It happends apparently random, and I don't know what it can be. Some tips?

That happened to a buddy of mine, it was due to a bad (not dead) battery that couldn't supply the needed power. See if a new battery will help.

Thanks for reply. I'm not sure that it's a battery issue, cause this happends also with a full charge battery... I'm thinking about main board, but I hope it's not.

No matter if the battery is fully charged or not, if the battery is old and no good, it will not supply the amount of current required for the Nano. Old batteries will sag in voltage and will act really funny. I highly highly doubt it's the board.

thank you, I've reassured. however now I'm trying with all batteries, and indeed it seems that with the ones that work for sure the problem does not occur.

As batteries age, their internal resistance goes higher and higher. As the resistance increases, the amount of current it can source drops even if the voltage is the same as before. Thus when they're fully charged, they can't drive the motor as fast as they used to.

I've got a bunch of older batteries that are useless on my NanoCPX. They fly the MSR just fine but that's it. I'd recommend getting a new battery from your hobby store or from online.

Adding a DFC head and a 200mAh battery really makes the Nano fly a whole lot better and not to mention quieter.

Default MQX Motor Test

This is just a video of me testing out my frankenNcpx with an MQX motor and pinion. Seems to fly pretty well, bogs a bit but I can't really compare to stock since it's been quite awhile since I've played with this bird due to a dead motor... I did take the pitch travel down the 85% which has seemed to help a bit.

Warning ; NO GOOD FLYING .....Just to show how it works with the MQX motor and pinion. This is not exactly a cheaper or better replacement motor but I have quite a few of them so figured I'd give it a go.
