Advantages of larger blades
I am just curious what advantage larger blades would have on the NX4. I am currently running the Edge 423mm blades but have been thinking of going to the 465mm spinblades. I would just like to know how these effect flight characteristics. I am running the 350mm spinblades on my X3 and really like them.

You essentially get more collective lift from the bigger blade disk. You will pull more amps as a result. It will also 'float' better, which means auto rotations will be more forgiveable.

Re: Advantages of larger blades
Longer is better if you have the power to avoid bogging and good tail holding authority. With longer blades you may have to back off on collective pitch range. The couple times I've stretched helis, I've had to add more powerful motors and larger tail blades.
