input vol err message on a E-station 902
Hello, I just started to have this issue today. I have a Bantam E-station 902 with a 42w power supply. I tested the charger on the power supply and a car battery, so I know it is the charger that is having issues. I bought the charger used and it has worked fine for a few months now.
This morning I plugged my charger in and it started beeping and displayed this message "Input Vol Err" I looked it up and the manual stated that means "the voltage of the input lowers the limit.".... what does that mean? lowers the limit..of what? Any ideas? Have you ever had this issue? Is it a fuse, or a short I can fix? Or is this charge dead? |

That error indicates that the battery or PSU is not holding up to the demand the charger is requiring. A 42 watt PSU is very small. If the PSU is 12V, that is only 3.5 amp output. Maybe you meant 42 amps?
What is the voltage of the battery you are trying to charge and at what amp rate? |

I did mean 42 amps. The battery is a lipo 11.1v 2.2a for a 450 size heli. the err pops up as soon as the charger is plugged in to a ps or battery. I tried it on 2 diff car batteries. I don;t even get to plug in my lipo and it errs out. Thanks for the reply.

The charger would need to be repaired. Please contact us on Monday and I can look up the cost of the replacement main PCB for you and you can then decide if you want to get it repaired.
