I guess this is faster than crashing and repairing them enough to memorize the manuals :guzzle

Thanks for posting these. I'm a newbie and just purchased an RC-TEK Diablo, which comes without a manual (RC-TEK keeps saying that they're working on one). However, since the Diablo is derived from the T-Rex 450, I can find a lot of pertinent information in these manuals.

Is it possible to get a up-to-date manual for the TREX 450 v2... ? the manual listed above is not correct... it is missing numerous pages and the diagrams are not the same part # to diagram key as the original manual... (not a big deal, but makes refrencing the hardcopy manual with someone looking at it online impossible)

uncertainty is KILLING me
Got a REAL SOLID REASON to recomment either JR285 s OR HS65 MG ??????????????????????. It seems there is a 50/50% selectivity split between the two. Some say 65s are better. The TREX MANUAL itself recommends the JR285s. I already have the JR package ( 285 + 3400G) but the ambiguity is murdlerizing me. Spent a bunch on the rest of the stuff (top end , all the rest )
Any offers ? thankxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

Hi Guys,...
I just bought a Trex 450SE v2 last week or so but my manual is a little different than what is posted. On my last page it shows and gives the bolts, nuts, shaft, bearing dimensions. I'm going to try and scan it and post here for you. I already found it useful during the build. CNH |

I scanned thru the thread quickly to see if anyone had already posted this or not and i didnt see it.
I noticed that there were a few differences between the Trex 450SE v2 Manual that you have listed and the one that I received in my box I received last week. Mine is the June 2007 Edition. I've scanned the Parts Section of the Manual which included a page that give measurements to the Nuts, Bolts, Screws, Ball Bearings, Shaft Sizes ETC,... So i just wanted to post it incase someone was interested in the updated JUNE 2007 Parts Section. Take Care. Hopefully this will help someone else out as well. My first "real" heli, it's a 450S and I've managed to leave the manual behind at one of numerous hotels I've been at in the last couple of weeks. Has anyone got a copy that I could have or could someone tell me which is the nearest variant?
Thanks |

The 450SA is an ARF version of the 450S so it should work just fine (and it's at the top of the thread!)

Well, the SA is the ARF version, so the manual will skip a lot of the build. The V1/1.5 is about the same heli, just with aluminum frames and plastic components instead of the nice blue alu. Go with the 1/1.5 manual for your build and have a ton of fun!

Hi there. Hoping someone can help.
Just bought a spotless second hand 450 but not sure which one. It would appear to be all plastic with yellow stabilizers & Landing gear. Has motor but no servos, gyro, esc, manuals, etc... Has carbon blades but i assume this was an after purchase addition. I'm guessing this is the base level entry version but which one. I know next to nothing about Trexs & want to find the right manual to start my learnin.. Which model is the base? Is this the XL? Is it CDE or HDE (Whatever they are!!) Hoping someone can get me started on the right track. This will be a casual build-up while i use my Blade 400 for learning to fly.. All advice appreciated - Maxih Last edited by Maxih; 06-13-2008 at 04:57 AM.. Reason: Spelling sucked... |

Believe it's a XL CDE. Seeking second opinions tho.
Have dyed all the yellow bits black for a cleaner look. Apparently the canopy is not the original. Previous owner added a fiberglass one before losing interest and selling it on. Am waiting to see if he has the manual or any other bits. In any case here a coupla pics.. |
