Default TH and lockout switch....having an issue.

Hey gang, still getting used to the jeti- I have a question.

Not 100% sure what changed in my setu pbut i have a Gobby 500 on Brain. TH (SG switch) isnt working to kill the model. I have default, TH,low, IU 1 and 2 programmed in the system. I also have a lockout switch in the SB slot- which is set to throttle cut. Idea being that I want to have TH and the lockout switch controlling the cut.

A friend whos been helping me said that TH would be one of the f-modes, and the lockout switch would act as a backup.

I have been through the menus a few times now....im stumped.

If your Throttle Cut is on the lock-switch and you have flight mode "Hold" on switch Sb the you should be all set.

Just make sure the "Hold" flight mode is the top-most in Flight Mode setup. Also go to Throttle Curves and double check that your Hold-flight mode really is on 0. You haven't touched your ESC settings? Needs teaching the endpoints?

I didn't quite get what you are after?

Sorry if I wasn't clear- activating TH does not stop the motor from spinning. The throttle cut switch is the only one that is stopping/starting the motor. It is in the topmost spot in the tx.

Solved- apparently the throttle curve was set to constant. I changed it to standard, and it all works as it should.

Constant is just fine. The point is that throttle curve on Hold should be constant 0. )That means 0 output on throttle regardless on stick-input or anything else.

But good that it's solved now

James from esprit model has an awesome YouTube video on how to create a logical switch that in essence does exactly what you're looking to do.

This is a screen shot of my Flight modes

I use a locking switch on the SE position. When the switch is down, it engages a flat throttle curve of -150%. I call it "motor off".

I set assigned Throttle Hold to a 2-way switch on SG position. I set the throttle curve to a flat 25% which is the Kontronik auto-rotation bail out curve.

I assigned IDLE UP 1, 2, and 3 to a 3-way switch on the SA position. For this switch to be active, both the SE locking switch and the SG switches need to be disengaged.
