Burned up my GVR-7020
Ok so I did something stupid. I accidentally plugged one of my 6S packs into my GVR 7020. Of course my mistake was realized when the unit started smoking. I immediately disconnected, and inspected the unit. I found that one of the 16V chips burned up. I can see some of the info on the unburned chip, but not all. Can someone tell me what kind of chip this is? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
both are same components ( C1, C2). But if you have plugged a 6S pack, the copper layers in the PCB ( the ones in the " sandwich" might be badly damaged / burned and so does the copper layer going on one of the FET on the other side of the Unit. Please send me by PM your details and the shop from which you bought the unit and we will check what we can do Best regards, Fabien |
