Which TX for mini CP
Hi,
thank you CX2Pilot for the grreat information, hopefully it will be of use to me soon. i am planning to buy my first 6-chanel heli the mini CP. i dont think that i will be flying large scale Helis, the maximum i would go is a 200 or 250 size heli, or a quadcopter like the Hoten X. i am wondering about the TX, will the Devo 7e be enough or do i need to go for 6s or 8s? i noticed that the 7e has only 2 switches on top unlike the 7 or the 6s. which confuses me since the 6s is only 6 channels not 7 and has more switches ... do i need all of them? |

Hi, thanks.
The Devo 7 is fine for the 200 or 250 size heli or a quadcopter like the Hoten X. I used my Devo 7 on my Master CP (200 size) and Hoten X. I now have the Devo 10 which is a great TX packed with features at a low price. I would pass on the 7e. Better to get the Devo 10 or 8S. The 6S is OK too but it is a small TX so if you have big hands like me it is to small. Tom |

Master cp devo 7 programing so lost... Please help
Hello all brothers and sisters! I am new to heli freak but I'm definately a heli freak. I've just bought the rtf genius cp brushless, and a bnf master cp. I am trying to program the devo 7 for my master cp and I am finding navigating the devo and trying to apply these settings impossible. I do not know how to get to these areas. What I read and what I am seeing in the devo seems different and confusing. I am 41, and I've been an auto tec for 18 yrs. so I'm mechanically inclined. This devo stuff is crazy. Please someone help me. I could do FaceTime or email or this thread. I need to start from turning on devo, then help from there. Lol. Thanks all!!! God bless.

Got a suggested setup for the V450D03? I'm a sport flyer and don't even attempt 3D right now. I would say I'm a beginner to intermediate pilot.
Right now, I have your Master CP settings on my Devo 7 for the V450D03. Should I make any changes based on what I have already said? |

Help
Quote:
Hi there, I wonder if you can help me? I have recently bought a Master CP and have flown it once, it crashed! I have have fixed it and somehow changed the settings. Now even in flight mode 0 which is set as normal mode, it wont even get off the ground. I have to switch it to mode 1, stunt mode to get it to fly. I am a beginner and cant fly it in stunt mode so i need to get it back to factory settings to learn. Can anybody help me please? I have followed a few pilots suggested settings but still not working correctly. Kind regards Ian |

life saver
Man, thank you so much...I accidentally left my radio on over night woke up heard it beeping. There was one bar left, I replaced the batteries and did not pay any mind to the settings (why should I) went to fly and it was wacked. For some reason Walkera fails to include "inmo" the little USB dongle to fix issues like this or to update the firmware, but they include the cable....Thats a BS move. So thanks again for posting

Hey there, I've followed your tutorial regarding the mini cp deco 7. But I can not figure out how to adjust the negative pitch to keep it from slamming into the ground. Any help would be great

WOW thx
I join this site just to let you know CX2Pilot Thanks a hell of a lot for your postings on setup for beginners walkera genius CP which I have EXCEED X100 they are identical. Before I change the setup on the DEVO7 it was right out of the box RTF. (yeah right) On take off It would lean to the left. So I just left it alone for about 8 months new in the box (I did not want to blow my investment on a crash). I research and I found your setup on beginner CP so I bookmark it also for several mouths..I finally got around to tackling that darn programming DEVO 7 learning curve issue. It took me about a hour to figure out the cursor movement then change devo setup to yours. Man let tell you that heli went strait up and I was happy happy happy!!!!!
Thanks again CX2Pilot |
