Default Pyro 600-12 bearings

My 5 year old Pyro is starting to make a squeeky sound. I cleaned and oiled the bearings but I guess it is time for new ones. What size are they, what brand?? Where to get replacement bearings from?? Is it hard to DIY?? I am in Australia, it might be quicker turn around time with US than with EU. If I can't do it myself where do I send it to in US??

It's not hard to change bearings. Take the can off and press them out. An arbour press is worth having in the home and not that expensive. Order a few sets of bearings and if you mess up you have spares. You should protect the windings on the stator when applying pressure and scorpion have a very good video showing how to do it.

Thank you. I am still a bit confused about the hybrid ceramic bearings. I have had good experience with ABEC orange seal ones on Scorpion motor in my TRex 450. So,should I or shouldn't use them?

I have seen 3 sets now of hybrid bearings destroy a motor because they explode. I believe they were BOCA.

I just checked the Boca website but they only have 5x12x4mm and 5x13x5mm. According to the link above they suppose to be 6x12x5 and 6x13x5. Where do I get them from??
