Default set up questions

I just picked up my robird g31. I'm still putting my heli together so I'm sure I will be back with many questions but here is the first.

How can I run two spectrum satellites & a BEC? do i need a Y harness from the BEC to both of the SRX cables?

That way works really well.

There is another route you can go if you're handy with a soldering iron, and don't mind opening the Robird up to do a little surgery.

My bec only has one output lead and I don't really want to get into opening up the g31. I also want to run all 4 servos at 7.4v. So I'm thinking a Y connector is best for my situation.

This is on a x3 and my bec it a 10a

Then the Y cable into the SRx-1 Port with the BEC plugged in one side, and the Srx cable in the other. Then run one of the male/male leads that came with the Robird between the SRx cables, and the other SRx into SRx-2 to power the tail servo is the way I would do it.

Or you could also place the Y split into one of the Cyclic servo ports and plug in the BEC there as well.

Ground is common on all ports except the R/S port on the left side, as that is signal only on all three pins.. All you really need to power the tail is to bridge the positive from any of the ports that can accept power.

Ok guys. I'm not sure why I'm having issues with such a simple concept...

I found a picture online that may help... is how they show in the picture okay?

Also. Do I understand correctly that I must bind sats on a different rx? There is no way to do it with the g31?

Its been awhile since I've setup a Robird but I was running 2 sats on a heli with no rx but I believe I had to bind them with a rx.

You bind your sats to the receiver. One and then the other using the same receiver. Then plug them into the Robird.
