Just added custom painted skids. I had some old messed up carbon fiber skids lying around so I decided to paint them.

To get them to work I ca them onto the factory landing gear less chance of breaking.

Never throw anything away. Here are some pics

Be blessed
Isaac

What kind of landing skid is that? It looks nifty. And how sturdy is it compared to stock?

You are exactly right....they require some modification but are extremely flexible and durable! Love them I'm using a Derlin mount from Asteroid Designs anyway and the setup kicks butt...looks good too!.

I really like the look to them. How is the durability and weight compared to stock?

I could make them close to stock weight but like to clear coat with enamal paint and use very heavy photo premium photo paper....they come out right around 3.5gms.

This actually helps with the SR120 tail mod and I still have to mount the battery inside the canopy to get it to balance.

The one I made with the double tail balances easy.

I meant the landing skid. Though your canopy looks very nice too

Just a heads up for everyone, not singling you out...

Any plan on selling, please use the Manufacturers, Dealers, Resellers, Announcements forum at:
https://www.helifreak.com/forumdisplay.php?f=49

It is "the" place on HF for the design and small parts run astute among us

Cheers,
Mike
