Default Trying Hobbywing UBEC 10amp

Well, after ready numerous negative comments about the castle creations BEC Pro 20a I decided to give Hobbywing a try. I have the 50a and 100a Platinum Pro ESC's. I like them both and have had zero problems with them in over 500 flts. Super easy to program and I do not need a computer. I bought the HW Multifunction program box and it works on all there stuff that needs or can be programmed. Anyways, has anybody tried the HW UBEC 10a bec from them. Please let me know. Thx.

Also, I almost forgot. They now have a US site, Hobbywing North America. You should give it a look. Has all there products and very reasonably priced.

Dont know much about your servo. HW uses to have a good stuff but If I were you, I would not risk my 700 like that. Get a good BEC from WR or move to LiFe-LiPo pack.

Why would you not try it. Can"t be any worse than the cc stuff.

How do you know it is not worse than any Castle stuffs? BEC is a device the power your electronics. BEC fail in mid flight mean you will pay a lot for the crash cost, even your life. And the crash cost may be more expensive than a best BEC from WR.

I have been using CC BEC's for a few years and no issues to date. So I don't see where the problem is. As for using a 10A, that is under rated for a 700 and should go with a 20A.

+1

CC BEC Pro is very solid, and your proposed model IS underrated for a 700!
