New Logo 700 - 14s setup - Motor & Batteries for 716 blades

Hi Guys

I am thinking of 14s setup for the new logo700 with 716 blades (756ish when VTX release them) . I will use the old gear and pinion.

I am not chasing the lightest heli in world .... but I am looking for 4 minutes of hard 3d and 5minutes with mild 3d type of setup

1.) What motor will you recommend? on the old logo Scorpion 4530-450kv was the motor of choice

2.) What size batteries would you recommend? 4400 or 5000? Like I said above, I would like to use 716 and 756 blades in future

You'll have to build it from two 7S packs.

There are very very few options available on the market. Revolectrix is a gamble. They may or may not build a 7S pack from separate 3S and a 4S with small 4mm bullets...and they may or may not actually be able to ship you your packs. No information on the site to let you know, and they take weeks to issue a refund if you buy something that they can't ship to you.

Max blade length will be 720mm. That's why VTX 717mm are max.

Cannot imagine that you would need 14s on the new 700. I would guess that extra weight would be bigger negative than lack of power on 12s.
Only good reason would to use batteries you already
own. I have 700xxtremr that I have flown both as 12 s and 14s and I prefer it as 12s, heavy as it is.

7s 4400mAh packs will have similar weight to 6s 5000mAh packs, give or take a small percentage. Of course 7s 5000mAh packs would be much heavier but it would be foolish to use them with 700 size blades

4400mah is not enuf for the target flight time on 753s and hard smack. I would go for 4800 mah from revo, 5500 mah may be too heavy.
