Ebay is your friend. Look up "fms usb simulator cable". Most work with FMS, ClearView, Heli-X and neXt.

Thanks for your advice, but most cables I see on eBay don't say Spektrum in the text, but will any USB cable work as long as the connector is mono 3,5 jack? Or is there anything I can look for to be sure it wil work?

Do any of the cables from HK work with spektrum dx6?

Also I read some people say one cable work with 4ch others work with 6ch, is this something I should be looking for?

HK cable is OK.

Anything with a 3.5mm audio jack works with Spektrum.

...
Will work with DX6, DX8, DX9, etc...
Will work with FMS, Clearview, Heli-X and neXt simulators.

Should do 8 channels, but may do only 4, hard to tell. The 4/8 problem seems to show mainly on mac and less so on Windows.

At 5 pounds you cannot go too far wrong.

There is a really good listing of available USB controllers and USB interface cables on the Next SIM page; on their forum there is a thread which has checked several cables against each other, channels and quality.

The German distributor Pichler has a USB V2 simulator cable C6099 for around 20-21EUR which you can also get from several model shops.

The Next SIM explains on their FAQ section that there also was an older Pichler interface version (different number) which did not offer a Mode2 switch, so Next was not supported.

Besides this there are several options like RX2SIM, SimStick Pro, Spektrum WS1000 or the new WS2000.
