I too would like to add my thanks to all that made this happen. I just bought the 10C and these videos will make it much easier to use.

Thanks again for all the time and effort that went into this.

Hi Bob,
in The menu TM-10 mode the difference in Genaral and France are the frequency rate
in general this are:2400....2483,5 Mhz
in france mode:2400....2454 Mhz
This has to setup for countries concerned EU nations
the frequency rate in example Belgium,France,Russia,Italy,Austria, has to setup in France mode
In other EU countries you have to setup rate in General mode

The France mode range are harmonised in this countries with the CE Mark CE
and in general CE! mark

Thats why

I am flying in Netherland and flying in General mode because this are just
recorniced frequency by governement

Thanks

JDH

Why on earth do they still use NiCd Tx packs?!? The 9303 at least has NiMH. I'd like to have a Futaba FASST system just to get away from static problems.

Hello Dr. 10c (bob of course) Thank you greatly for your efforts on the 10c project. It is excellent to see that all of the members here have banded like brothers to accomplish this task. I am a beginer and reached a bit high and purchaced a 10c for my first big investment into this hobby. I must say it was very overwelming when i first recieved this radio, i now have a Visual tettorial to compliment the written manuel do to your efforts. Thank you again for teaching so many of us. Thank you Bob and to all the sponsors to get this video review/tutorial going! I'm really considering this radio as an upgrade to my 7C. Getting to see this operated and tested is exactly what I need!

Cheers!

Hey Bob..
I noticed on my radio a lil issue with the throtle cutt switch..right hand corner , top of the radio (if standing with antenna vert.) seems to be stick'n a bit... just not as smooth as the others..... My question is . do you recomend a supplier of replacement switches/ other parts for this particular Futaba.. ????

This is the only 3rd party service place I know. I think they will sell you parts like switches.

RCHeli magazine did a latency test on the 10C in the November 2008 issue, and then one on the new JR 12X in December.

The average latency for the 10C using the R6014FS reciever was 18.0 mSec, worst average for PCM1024 reciever was 28.0 mSec.

The JR 12X average using DSM2 was 32.0 mSec, and the worst average with a A6000 reciever was 48.0 mSec.

I don't know how it would stack up against the 12FG or 14MZ because I don't have any data for it.

It should also be noted that with the R6014FS the 10C has the same 2048 res of the big dogs.

I can hear the question being asked in a meeting at Futaba..."who the %$$@! designed the 10C to be faster than our top model?"...LOL..... Kind of like when the engineers at GMC made the 1991 Syclone truck as fast as a 1991 Corvette, and not just any Corvette....the top of the line ZR-1......oooopppssieee....

It's either that, or Futaba's next 14MZ is going to drop a bomb on the R/C radio world.
Yeah, 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds. My friend had that Corv and I didn't buy that speed at the time. I remember that! And he showed me. Damn what a ride!
